Abha enjoys 20 years of experience in the contentious and non-contentious media law space. Currently, she focuses on the advisory and documentation aspects of the media practice. She also focuses on fintech, sports and gaming laws. She is also the Head of the Private Client Practice (PCP) group at the firm. 

Abha heads the advisory and non-contentious intellectual property practice at the firm. 

Abha has also been seconded to various clients’ offices given her proficiency in the subject matter and her deep-relationship with her clients. Her clients depend on her for her ability to comprehend the nuances of a transaction document. 

As an intellectual property law specialist, Abha devises acquisition and licensing strategies for intellectual property rights including copyrights for several of her clients and also renders legal opinions on complex IP matters. She regularly advises clients on script, content clearances, due diligence for ascertaining IP ownership and has carried out due diligence of title and copyright ownership for more than 1000 films.

Abha also holds the reins on the IP prosecution portfolio of the firm including filing and pursuing trademark & copyright registration applications before Registries across various states in the country. 

For the private client practice, Abha enables high networth individuals to plan their estates and trust funds. She is their trusted advisor.
